Age: 20
Dance History (before Vikings):
Began jazz training at the age of 5 and tap dancing when she was 9. Continued both until the age of 18 when she decided to concentrate on school, work & ViKiNGS. Received the 'Academic Achievement Award for VCE Dance Units 3 & 4 in her final year of high school. Before ViKiNGS, she danced at many school events and performed for a few local events with her dance school.
When & how they joined ViKiNGS:
Joined ViKiNGS in April 2001 for the Side A concert as a fill in for Liza
(who was travelling overseas at that time) and for Czearen (who took a
break from ViKiNGS). Liza introduced her to the ViKiNGS.
I wish I could dance like…
Amanda Berkley from the movie "Centrestage" coz she can do really cool
pirouettes, and my godbrother Anthony Lawang a.k.a Lamaroc from Fresh
Sox crew coz he performs with style and character. Oh, and my buddy Daz
coz he'll get mad if I don't mention him.
I love performing because…
I love hearing the applause from the audience! It's a great to know that
they appreciate something that you've worked on.
My goals & aspirations…
To be happy with the life I choose, live for ages & to always dance. Even
if its ballroom at age 67!
